What are we about as a church?

We believe the purpose of the church is to worship God, to make disciples (people who follow Jesus with commitment and devotion) and to be a community which brings the love God has for all people into the world in practical ways. We are to be a sign of the coming Kingdom (or rule) of God in the world today.

 What do we do?

Like all churches, we offer a range of activities and services that are designed to help us all to grow in faith and to be active disciples in our daily lives.

 Sunday services

Most Sundays the service is a Communion service at 9.15 with crèche facilities (for 0-3s) and Junior Church groups for different ages (7 and under, 8 to 10 and 11+). The service normally lasts between an hour and 1hr 15mins.

The service on the first Sunday of every month is ‘ Worship Together’ at 10am. This is a shorter service (about 45 minutes), without Holy Communion, there are creche facilities available but  adults and children generally stay together in church.

Refreshments are served after all Sunday services.

We have a Communion at 9.30 on Wednesday mornings

We run various groups and courses throughout the week and have a new Youth Group, meeting every other Sunday afternoon in term time.
